ProgresX requires only the minimal permissions necessary to function:

• https://x.com/*: This is required so the extension can detect the scroll position on X article pages and display the progress bar.
• Content Scripts: Used only to inject the visual progress indicator and calculate scroll percentage.

4. Data Retention

Since no data is collected or transmitted, there is no data retention. No information about your browsing habits or the articles you read is stored in your browser’s local storage, cookies, or synced to your Google account.

5. Third-Party Services

ProgresX does not use any third-party services, trackers, or cookies.
